Ain Shams University shines at the 53rd Martyr Al-Rifai Egyptian Universities Kung Fu Championship, winning one gold, two silver, and three bronze medals

Ain Shams University achieved a new sporting milestone at the 53rd Martyr Al-Rifai Egyptian Universities Kung Fu Championship (male and female students), with the university team winning a total of six medals:

1 gold medal

2 silver medals

3 bronze medals

This achievement came during the championship hosted by Ain Shams University in the indoor hall of the Sports Activity Department at the General Administration for Student Welfare, held from 25 to 27 November, under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of the University, and Prof. Rami Maher Ghali, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs.

The closing ceremony and announcement of the results were attended by Major General Mohamed Mohi Abu Zeid, Board Member of the Egyptian Wushu Kung Fu Federation, Major General Essam Khater, Director of the Egyptian Wushu Kung Fu Federation, and Prof. Mohamed Amin Abdel Salam, Technical Director of the Egyptian Universities Sports Federation.

The championship saw the participation of 263 students representing 30 governmental, private, and national universities, amid a highly enthusiastic atmosphere and strong competition reflecting the spirit of challenge and fair play among students.

The event was administratively supervised by Mr. Ibrahim Said Hamza, Assistant Secretary of the University for the Education and Student Affairs Sector, and under the supervision of the Sports Activity Department of the General Administration for Student Welfare.

This sporting achievement reflects Ain Shams University’s commitment to supporting its sports teams and providing a motivating environment for students to achieve the best results, enhancing the university’s prestige in various sporting arenas.
