2023-05-11

Trajan's palace is considered one of the most beautiful unfinished buildings. It was built by the Roman Emperor Trajan (98-117 AD) as a resting place, in addition to its religious role, in which the rituals of the processions of the goddess Isis are performed. It is distinguished by its unique location near the Temple of Isis on Philae Island in Aswan, a small island in the middle of the Nile River. Al-Jawsak was given many names, including: (booth, fortress, Pharaoh's bed, and a small house).
