The Engineering Consultancy Center at Ain Shams University has achieved a significant milestone, adding to the university’s distinguished record of excellence, by obtaining three international management system certifications: ISO 9001 (Quality Management), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management), and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management).
This achievement was accomplished under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El Abedein, President of Ain Shams University; Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; and Prof. Amani Osama Kamel, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research.
The Engineering Consultancy Center, managed by Prof. Yasser Maghied, is considered one of the leading consultancy entities both within and outside Ain Shams University. It provides specialized engineering and consultancy services that effectively support sustainable development projects and major national initiatives in Egypt.
This accomplishment reflects the center’s commitment to implementing the highest international standards in service quality, environmental preservation, and providing a safe and healthy work environment.
The President of Ain Shams University emphasized that this achievement demonstrates the university’s ongoing commitment to leadership and excellence across all sectors, noting that the center continues to perform exceptionally in supporting the university’s development projects and enhancing its infrastructure and services.
Prof. Yasser Mogahed, Director of the Engineering Consultancy Center, praised the significant contributions of Prof. Amr Shaat, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Chairman of the Center’s Board, and Prof. Akram Farouk, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development and Vice Chairman of the Board, for their support in developing the center and enhancing its role both within and outside the university.
