In an important step to strengthen academic and scientific ties among Arab educational institutions, Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Ahmed Suleiman Hamad, President of the University of Fallujah, signed a protocol aimed at activating avenues of mutual cooperation between the two universities in the fields of higher education and scientific research, as well as exchanging distinguished academic expertise and knowledge.

This step reflects the depth of the fraternal relations between the two countries and the keenness of both universities to promote scientific openness and exchange experiences in support of the educational process across the Arab world.
The signing ceremony was attended by Prof. Amany Osama Kamel, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research; Prof. Ali Al-Anwar, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine; Prof. Mohamed Ragaa El-Sotouhy, Dean of the Faculty of Science; Prof. Farid Moharram, Dean of the Faculty of Business; and Prof. Sherweit El-Ahmady, Executive Director of the International Relations and Academic Collaboration Sector, represents Ain Shams University.
From the University of Fallujah, the delegation included representatives from various colleges and academic departments: Prof. Nahla Nagy Helal, Assistant President for Scientific Affairs; Prof. Mohammed Jubeir Mohaidi, Dean of the College of Applied Sciences; Asst. Prof. Dr. Muhannad Khalifa Ubaid, Dean of the College of Administration and Economics; Asst. Prof. Dr. Rafea Alawi Fayyadh, Dean of the College of Medicine; Asst. Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, welcomed the delegation and emphasized that this agreement represents a distinguished academic partnership grounded in a spirit of collaboration. He expressed his aspiration to activate the terms of the agreement and complete the necessary procedures for the exchange of delegations and expertise.
He added that this ongoing scientific cooperation will positively and directly contribute to the development of the educational process. The ultimate goal, he noted, is to prepare a new generation of Arab graduates equipped with the knowledge and skills required to lead the future and compete effectively in a rapidly changing global labor market.
For his part, Prof. Ahmed Suleiman Hamad, President of the University of Fallujah, affirmed that this scientific cooperation agreement is a pivotal milestone in the path of joint Arab collaboration. It aims to reinforce the scientific role of educational institutions as beacons of knowledge across the Arab world by promoting the exchange of expertise and competencies between the two partner universities.
He extended his sincere thanks to the Arab Republic of Egypt for its warm hospitality and its continuous efforts to support the internationalization of higher education and achieve regional integration.
This agreement represents a qualitative addition to the course of academic cooperation and is expected to contribute significantly to enhancing scientific research and developing teaching and student capacities at both universities.
