Ain Shams University won the prize of the best in student activities at the level of Egyptian universities

The Supreme Council of Universities headed by Prof. Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, in his meeting, announced that Ain Shams University, headed by Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, won the award of the best university at the level of Egyptian universities in student activities.

In this context, Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini praised the efforts of the education sector and students at the university headed by Prof. Dr. Abdel-Fattah Saud, Vice President of the University for Education and Students Affairs, also congratulated all the deans and agents of the various faculties of the university, students, all administrators, workers in the education sector and students for winning this award, which is granted for the first time at the level of Egyptian universities.

He stressed the university's constant keenness to support student activities in its diversity, believing in its role in creating a balanced personality capable of excellence and giving.

He explained that the victory of Ain Shams University with this award came as a result of persistent and continuous efforts that are not limited to study periods only, but continue during vacation periods, as the student activity is the breathing and factory for spawning the energies of youth.

He added that the university students do not stop the limits of their distinguished participation in student activities within the university walls, but rather extend to participate in various local, Arab and international forums, stressing that students of Ain Shams University receive many international awards in various areas of student activity.

He emphasized that the coming period will witness a greater boom in student activities with continuous work on expanding the base of student participation in activities as this is the supreme goal, so that every student inside the university finds himself in an activity that is related to and excels in it.
