The Faculty of Agriculture at Ain Shams University has obtained accreditation for four new academic programs from the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education.
This achievement comes under the auspices of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University; Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; Prof. Amany Osama, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research; and Prof. Walaa Abdel Ghany, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture. The process was supervised by Prof. Myriam Ayad, Director of the University’s Quality Assurance Center. The newly accredited programs include Biotechnology, Economic and Social Sciences, Animal Production and Food Science and Technology
Prof. Walaa Abdel Ghany, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, expressed his pride and appreciation for the accreditation of these programs, emphasizing that this achievement reflects the ongoing efforts of faculty members, administrative staff, and students to enhance the educational process. It ensures the preparation of graduates capable of competing in local, regional, and international labor markets.
With the accreditation of these programs, the total number of accredited programs in the Faculty of Agriculture rises to eight, reflecting the faculty's commitment to its mission of developing and improving the educational process in accordance with academic quality and accreditation standards. This milestone also continues the faculty’s distinguished journey in improving the learning environment, supporting scientific research, developing infrastructure, and enhancing the capacities of academic staff and teaching assistants.
