The Faculty of Computer won first place in the interactive workshops of the "Africa Code" program for female entrepreneurs

The Ministry of Youth and Sports organized the “Central Project Management and Youth Training” in cooperation with the International Organization of la Francophonie, Microsoft Corporation, and the United Nations Development Program, a group of interactive workshops on “technology and digital management” with the aim of acquiring knowledge, application and competition in the field of programming, on the occasion of the African Girls ’Conference For the development of Africa using information technology within the activities of the "Africa Code" program for women entrepreneurs. 40 participants participated in the program, representing "Egypt - Senegal - Cameroon - Mali" countries during the period from 4 to 11 December this year at the Civil Education Center in the island.

The workshop was attended by instructor Florent Yusan - the Francophone Fund for Digital Innovation in the International Organization of la Francophonie, and the trainer Bastien Angelor - the expert in digital transformation of companies and the president of la Francophonie for Innovative Organizations.

During the meeting, 7 pilot projects from 4 countries were reviewed, according to "Egypt 3 projects - Cameroon two projects - Senegal one project - financial one project" which included special applications "to facilitate the procedures for payment and subscriptions by public means of transportation, benefit from the elderly and experienced, and provide teachers for students And for the hearing impaired and how to communicate information to them, and an application to detect spoiled meat, and an application for hospitals in all countries of the world and the treatment of patient data. "

The student / Amani Ali Fakry Mohamed - won the third group at the Faculty of Computer and Information, Ain Shams University in the first place in a team consisting of 5 students with a special application to detect spoiled meat, and won the second place the application submitted by the Cameroon team for hospitals in all countries of the world and the treatment of patient data.
