The Extension of the international accreditation of the Faculty of Pharmacy at Ain Shams University until 2029
In a new achievement that reflects its academic excellence and leadership in the field of pharmaceutical education, the Faculty of Pharmacy at Ain Shams University has received an extension of international accreditation from the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) for the Bachelor of Pharmacy (PharmD) and PharmD-Clinical Pharmacy programs until June 30, 2029.
The extension was held under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University; Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; Prof. Amany Osama Kamel, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research; and Prof. Rehab Othman, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy.
Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Quality Assurance Unit, department heads, faculty members, support staff, administrators, and all faculty members, praising their dedication and professionalism, which contributed to this achievement. He emphasized that the accreditation is a testament to the Faculty of Pharmacy's commitment to providing the highest standards of education and scientific research, which contributes to raising the university's regional and international ranking. It is also a step toward further excellence and progress in the various academic disciplines offered by the university.
This international accreditation is a high-level testament to the faculty's commitment to international quality standards. The programs were subjected to a comprehensive and rigorous evaluation, which included curricula, faculty competency, the quality of educational and student services, and the extent to which the desired educational outcomes were achieved.
