Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Prof. Amani Osama Kamel, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, received a delegation from the Enoch Pratt Library in the United States.

The American delegation was headed by Mr. Chad Hilton, President and CEO of the Library. This visit was to discuss ways to cooperate and develop the Central Library at Ain Shams University.

The meeting was attended by Prof. Sherweit El-Ahmady, Director of the University's International Students and Mobility Office, while the visiting delegation from the American side included Ms. Sridevi Veeramachani, Chief Financial Officer, Ms. Liz Sunderman-Zinger, Director of the State Library Resource Center, and Ms. Natalie DeMuro, Archivist.

Discussions during the meeting focused on prospects for joint cooperation between Ain Shams University and the Enoch Pratt Library, particularly regarding the development of the university's central library to serve the educational and research process and keep pace with the latest global developments in digital and traditional library management. Both sides expressed a keen interest in exchanging expertise and successful experiences, which will enrich the cultural and academic landscape.
