Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Mohamed Diaa Zein El-Abidin, President of Ain Shams University, Professor Dr. Farid Moharam El-Garhy, Dean of the Faculty of Commerce, received yesterday, Monday, Ms. Iman Al-Hosani, Technical Attaché at the Education and Technology Attaché Office at the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in the Arab Republic of Egypt, and Mr. Amr Ahmed Abdel-Ghani Al-Kady, Student Affairs Specialist at the Education and Technology Attaché Office at the UAE Embassy in Cairo. They congratulated Professor Dr. Farid Moharam on his appointment as Dean of the Faculty of Commerce at Ain Shams University.

The meeting addressed several topics, including ways to develop relations and strengthen strategic partnerships between the Faculty of Commerce and the UAE Ministry of Higher Education. The meeting also discussed the situation of Emirati students studying at the faculty and ways to provide them with academic and technical support.

The meeting also discussed the procedures and facilities that the Faculty of Commerce can offer to students from the UAE, such as distance learning and hybrid learning systems. This will contribute to increasing the number of Emirati students enrolled at the faculty at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

For his part, the Dean of the Faculty presented the academic regulations for the Banking Sciences Program and the Business Technology Program, as well as the development of graduate studies regulations. The Dean of the faculty also invited Ms. Eman Al-Hosny and Mr. Amr Al-Kady to attend the graduation ceremony for the 2025 academic year, which coincides with Ain Shams University's Diamond Jubilee celebrations and Egypt's celebration of the glorious October Revolution.
