The Faculty of Pharmacy at Ain Shams University organized the second Cosmetics and Cosmeceutical Exhibition (CEPA 25), as part of the "Cosmetics and Aesthetic Medicine" course taught to fifth-year PharmD and PharmD Clinical students.
The exhibition was held under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of the University, and Prof. Rehab Osman Ahmed, Acting Dean of the Faculty, and under the supervision of Prof. Rania Hathout, Head of the Department of Pharmaceutics and Industrial Pharmacy.

A group of faculty staff participated in supervising, organizing, and coordinating the exhibition, including Dr. Iman El-Marakby, Lecturer of Pharmaceutics and Industrial Pharmacy and Coordinator of the Clinical Pharm D course; Dr. Doaa Shakshak, Lecturer of Pharmaceutics and Industrial Pharmacy and Coordinator of the Pharm D course; Dr. Roxanne Abdel Gawad, Lecturer of Pharmaceutics and Industrial Pharmacy; and Dr. Dina Abdel Aati, Lecturer of Pharmaceutics and Industrial Pharmacy.
The exhibition saw active participation from students, who presented 40 innovative cosmetics projects. These projects included preparing and packaging new products not available in the Egyptian market, and developing advertising and marketing plans for them, a practical application of what they had learned during the course.
The exhibition aims to enhance students' skills and prepare them for the job market by enabling them to design and implement integrated cosmetic projects themselves.
Many projects were admired by the judging panel for their creative ideas and professional execution, reflecting the students' readiness to efficiently enter the job market.
At the conclusion of the event, a judging panel comprised of professors from the Department of Pharmaceutics and Industrial Pharmacy evaluated the projects. The owners of the outstanding projects were honored, and certificates of appreciation and gifts were distributed in recognition of their efforts.
