The "Made in Egypt" exhibition at Ain Shams University witnessed a large turnout of students from Campus B, under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of the University, and Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs.
In this context, Prof. Ghada Farouk explained that the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector periodically organizes the "Made in Egypt" exhibition, based on its belief in the importance of the university's societal role in supporting national industries, especially given the state's focus on localizing national industries. The supporting of the purchase of local products is a national duty. Encouraging local products through purchasing increases production rates, expands factory lines, creates job opportunities, opens new horizons for export, reduces imports, and achieves comprehensive development. The exhibition continues to attract large numbers of students and university employees and will continue until May 22.
