The event was also attended by Prof. Salwa Soliman, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Mass Communication for Education and Student Affairs; and the eminent philosopher Emad El-Adly.

The meeting was well attended and attended by university students eager to meet one of the most prominent writers and authors of the modern era, whose novels are among the best-selling and most popular among young people.

The eminent philosopher Emad El-Adly expressed the importance of writer Ahmed Mourad, saying, "He represents an exceptional case and a source of inspiration for young people, as he has succeeded in an organized and thoughtful manner in reaching their minds, arousing their passion for reading, and ultimately capturing their hearts."

The writer, Ahmed Mourad, expressed his happiness at his first visit to Ain Shams University and the warm reception he received. He thanked the Middle East Research Center for the opportunity to connect with the university's youth.

The great writer reviewed his first steps in literary writing and how his first novel, "Vertigo," was published, followed by his other novels. Author Ahmed Murad also emphasized the need to slow down the pace of life and focus deeply on everything going on around us until we reach the stage of insight, which enables us to perceive the truth of things and observe them in a more understanding and profound way.

Author and novelist Ahmed Murad added that the primary goal of a literary product is to enlighten the mind and stimulate emotions to uncover social problems and the secrets of the human psyche. A writer is like a surgeon who, with his scalpel, attempts to uncover the source of the problem in order to identify it and then treat it.

At the end of the symposium, the floor was opened for discussion, where the great writer engaged with the youth in an open and engaging dialogue, answering all their questions about his works and literary writing.
