Under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, the Faculty of Dentistry organized a seminar on how to rationalize the consumption of water, energy, and waste during administrative operations. The event was held under the supervision of Prof. Karim El-Batouty, Dean of the Faculty, and was coordinated by Prof. Walaa Hamed, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development.

The seminar hosted Dr. Ahmed El-Awady, Director of the University’s Center of Excellence for Sustainability, who spoke about practical ways to reduce the consumption of water, energy, and waste in administrative work. He also addressed climate change and its causes, as well as global warming and its contributing factors, emphasizing the need for everyone to adopt more sustainable consumption practices.
This seminar is part of a series presented by the Center of Excellence for Sustainability aimed at university faculty and staff, as part of a broader plan to raise awareness and build capacity among the university's administrative teams.
