Ain Shams University hosts international expert Paul Bouag

Sector of Graduate Studies and Research Systems chaired by Prof. Dr. Abdel Nasser Sengab, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research in cooperation with the Egyptian Knowledge Bank, organized a workshop on the development of websites of Egyptian universities on the international level, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University.

The workshop came within the framework of cooperation between the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and Egyptian universities and the Egyptian Knowledge Bank to raise the university's rating and the efficiency of the websites of Egyptian universities. The workshop hosted the internayional expert Paul Bwag, web development expert, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Ahmed El-Banna Director of the International Classification Office at the University, Dr. Rasha Ismail, Director of the e-Portal Project at the University, Dr. Islam Hegazy Executive Director of Information Technology at the University, Dr. Abdel Aziz Mahmoud Director of Expatriate Welfare Unit at the University and a group of faculty members in Egyptian universities.

In his speech, Prof. Dr. Abdel Nasser Sengab, welcomed the guests present from the representatives of the Egyptian universities and officials in charge of websites and officials of it unit, as well as Ms. Ola Lawrence, the knowledge bank advisor on the fruitful cooperation between the knowledge bank and the university.

He stressed that the aim of the workshop is to show mechanisms of ways to develop the efficiency of the websites of Egyptian universities website and international classification and research centers

The workshop also included the study of the modern development of university websites according to the requirements of modern international classifications.
