The 10th Annual scientific conference of the university was launched under the title “The University as an anchor of Development…Towards the New Republic” and the opening session of the conference dealt with (the experience of the university sector in the United Kingdom during the previous COP26 climate summit events and the overall contributions that universities can make to the climate agenda, and how to work together through networks different international)

In the framework of the activities of the 10th Annual Scientific Conference of Ain Shams University, the scientist Dr. Farouk El-Baz was a guest and lecturer on the activities of the conference. Within the framework of the conference activities, the Middle East Research and Future Studies Center discussed “Ain Shams University and its role in the Egyptian-Arab societies” on the occasion of the seventy-year anniversary of its establishment.

The Faculty of Archeology, Ain Shams University, participated in a session in the tenth scientific conference of the university under the title of Archeology and the prospects for international cooperation.

The Women's Support and Empowerment Unit also participated in the activities of the 10th Scientific Conference of Ain Shams University, where this participation is considered the first for women's support and anti-violence units in Egyptian universities and their work was under the title "Women and their Impact on Societal Issues."

The activities of the conference, entitled "The University as an anchore of Development…Towards the New Republic", which was held from March 29-31 under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, headed by Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University and President of the Conference, Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research and Vice President of the Conference, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Hesham Tamraz, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs were concluded with important recommendations.

The conference also included several sessions in the basic sciences, engineering and technological sciences, humanities, social and educational sciences, the medical sciences sector, the agricultural sector, the Middle East Research Center, the Women's Support and Empowerment Unit and the University Alumni Association.
