Ain Shams University hosts the meeting of the Executive Committee of the Scientific Society for Measurement and Evaluation affiliated with the Association of Arab Universities

Under the patronage of Prof. Amr Ezzat Salama, Secretary General of the Association of Arab Universities, and Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, and within the framework of the Center for Development of Educational Strategies and Research at Ain Shams University, a meeting of the Executive Committee of the Scientific Society for Measurement and Evaluation, affiliated with the Association of Arab Universities, was held yesterday, Sunday, March 3, 2024.

The meeting was chaired by Prof. Mona Abdel-Al Al-Zahri, Secretary General of the Scientific Society for Measurement and Evaluation and Executive Director of the Center for Development of Educational Strategies and Research at Ain Shams University, and in the presence of members of the Executive Committee of professors and specialists in the field of measurement and evaluation, from the universities of Ain Shams, Helwan, Zagazig, King Salman National University, Zarqa University of Jordan, King Abdulaziz University in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Arabian Gulf University in Bahrain, the University of Baghdad in Iraq, the Arab Council for Health Specialties, and members of the Central Unit for Measurement and Evaluation team at Ain Shams University.

The meeting discussed preparations for the association's annual conference, in addition to a group of proposed training courses and workshops. The committee also discussed ways of strategic cooperation with local and international partners in the field of measurement and evaluation in the medical sciences, arts, humanities, and engineering and technology sectors.

It is worth noting that the Scientific Society for Measurement and Evaluation, based at Ain Shams University, was established in 2022 by a decision of the General Conference of the Association of Arab Universities.

The Society aims to spread the culture of measurement and evaluation and provide integrated solutions to develop the system in Arab universities, contributing to achieving justice, transparency and quality, in addition to raising the efficiency of faculty staff and preparing scientific and executive cadres to develop the evaluation process.
