The Students for Egypt family at the Faculty of Arts organizes a symposium entitled The Virtue of the Night of Mid-Sha`ban and Welcoming the Blessed Month of Ramadan

The Students for Egypt family at the Faculty of Arts organized a symposium entitled “The Virtues of the Mid-Night of Sha’ban and Welcoming the Month of Ramadan,” under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Prof. Hanan Kamel, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, at Ain Shams University, under the supervision of Prof. Mohamed Ibrahim, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, Faculty of Arts, Ain Shams University, coordinated by Prof. Ahmed Dayhoum, general leader of the Students for Central Egypt family, and Prof. Abdel Moneim Zaki, leader of the Students for Egypt family at the Faculty of Arts.

The distinguished Al-Azhar scholar Prof. Issam Al-Roubi, gave a lecture at the symposium, where confirmed that the virtue of the night of the middle of Sha`ban is great, in which God Almighty looks into the hearts of worshipers and forgives all of His creation except the polytheist or the quarrelsome, explaining that reviving it is through supplication to God.

Prof. Issam Al-Roubi, during his meeting with students of the Faculty of Arts in the Faculty’s basement, added that the night of the middle of Sha’ban contains many lessons learned from the issue of changing the qiblah of Muslims.

Prof. Issam Al-Roubi added that the qibla was shifted from the Holy House to the Kaaba in the month of Shaban, and he, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, was waiting for that with a strong desire, and he stood every day looking forward to a destination in the sky, anticipating the divine revelation until God approved his eye and gave him his wishes and he achieved what he wanted to what pleased him.

Al-Rubi concluded the meeting with a narration by Al-Bukhari and Muslim, in which Mrs. Aisha, may God be pleased with her, said: “The Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, did not fast more for a month than the whole of Shaban, and he used to say: Take as much work as you can, for God does not tire until you tire. He was the most beloved of prayers to the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him.” Peace and blessings of God be upon him, he did not always do it, even if it was infrequent, and whenever he prayed a prayer, he would always do it.”

In conclusion, Prof. Hanan Kamel, Dean of the Faculty, presented the Faculty’s shield to the Al-Azhar scholar Prof. Issam Al-Roubi.
