The opening of the annual charity exhibition for clothes and supplies at the Faculty of Arts in cooperation with the Lions Clubs

The Faculty of Arts at Ain Shams University, represented by the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector, in cooperation with the Lions Clubs, headed by Hala El-Kady, and in coordination with the Faculty’s Youth Welfare Department, organized a charity exhibition for winter clothes, under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zein Al-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Prof. Hanan Kamel Metwally, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, under the supervision of Prof. Hanan Salem, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs,

Prof. Hanan Kamel praised the exhibition, which witnessed a large turnout from students and workers, whether inside or outside the Faculty. She also praised the good organization of the exhibition on the part of the community service and environmental development sector, stressing her continued encouragement of all activities that contribute to providing humanitarian and charitable assistance to students who are unable to do so.

While Prof. Hanan Salem, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, said that the exhibits included clothes, shoes, bags, and accessories from the finest Egyptian and international brands suitable for the winter season with the aim of achieving support and social solidarity. She praised the effective participation of the “Lions” clubs in the exhibition in cooperation with the “Takiyet Al Khair” Business Foundation. The famous charity indicated that the exhibition lasted from ten in the morning until five in the evening and included more than 10,000 pieces of different sizes and models at nominal prices, pointing out that the income from the exhibition was allocated to benefit students who are unable to pay school fees.

         
   
         

Moreover, Prof. Hanan Salem thanked and appreciated the university administration represented by Prof. Mohamed Dia, President of the University, and Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, for their support to the social activities that provide various services to our students.

She particularly thanked Prof. Hanan Kamel, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, for her keenness and continuous encouragement of all activities that contribute to enhancing students’ skills and developing their abilities, as well as providing various social services to our students, and special thanks to Major General Hossam El-Sherbiny, Assistant Secretary of the University for the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector, for all the support and the facilities he provided to hold the exhibition. She also expressed her happiness at the presence of Prof. Gehan Ragab, Advisor to the Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs. The attendees were pleased with Her Excellency’s presence and her inspection of the exhibition’s pavilions. She thanked and appreciated the Faculty’s Public Relations Department, Youth Welfare and the Faculty of Arts’ student organizing team for the effort made in organizing and following up on the success of the exhibition and achieving its goals. She said, “Because we work in the spirit of one team, I would like to express my sincere thanks and appreciation to Prof. Hatem Rabie, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Arts for Postgraduate Studies and Research, for the distinguished supervision and effort made to make the exhibition a success. Thanks also go to Prof. Mohamed Ibrahim, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Education and Student Affairs, for all the support and assistance he provided to hold the exhibition".

Then they went to the opening of the exhibition on the campus of the Faculty of Arts, where the exhibition witnessed a large turnout, and they were keen to take souvenir photos.
