The Faculty of Arts Football League Tournament

The Student Union of the Faculty of Arts at Ain Shams University, represented by the Sports Committee, organized a football league tournament, under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Hanan Kamel, Dean of the Faculty, under the supervision of Prof. Muhammad Ibrahim, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Education and Student Affairs, and follow-up by Mrs. Suha Al-Sabaa, Director of the Youth and Student Welfare Department, Hilmi Ahmed, President of the Union, and his deputy, Walaa Tayseer.

The tournament was held with the participation of 32 teams from all departments of the faculty. The tournament lasted for 3 days in a knockout system, and the tournament matches were held at the Faculty of Business stadium from December 5 to 7, 2023.

Prof. Hanan Kamel, Dean of the Faculty, awarded the trophy to the winning team. The top three places were also honored by presenting them with the Dean’s Cup, certificates of appreciation, and financial prizes, in the presence of Prof. Muhammad Ibrahim, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Education and Student Affairs.

Holding the tournament comes within the framework of the faculty administration’s interest in supporting student activities in all fields, especially sports, to build a physically and morally healthy generation of young people, to make optimal use of the youth’s energies and entertain them, and to deepen the spirit of fair competition.
