The closing of the activities of the tenth session of the training program for university administration and leadership at the Training and Development Center at Ain Shams University

On Thursday, November 16, 2023, the activities of the tenth session of the training program “University Administration and Leadership” were concluded, which is the program that qualifies for the position of dean of a faculty or institute in Egyptian universities, and which is organized by the Training and Development Center at Ain Shams University, under the sponsorship of Prof. Muhammad Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of the University, and supervised by Prof. Neven Assem, director of the center.

The training program aims to develop the leadership and administrative skills of faculty members, such as the legal and financial aspects of university business and how to develop personal resources.

The program also addresses how to make decisions using quantitative methods and methods and build the institution’s strategic plan, and the importance of innovation in academic circles and its impact on the international classification of universities.

The tenth session of the training program was conducted by a distinguished elite of trainers specialized in this field, namely:

Prof. Mohamed Safi, Professor of International Law and Dean of the Faculty of Law at Ain Shams University

Prof. Mamdouh Abdel Aleem, full professor at the Faculty of Business and advisor to the Vice President for Education and Student Affairs for student activities

Prof. Mohamed Abdel Aziz, Dean of the Higher Institute for Cooperative and Administrative Studies

Prof. Nouran Muhammad Fathi Al-Ghandour, Professor of Internal Medicine, Endocrinology and Diabetes at the Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University and a certified international trainer.

Prof. Galal Hassan Galal El-Din, Professor of Information Systems and former Vice Dean of the Faculty of Computers at Cairo University and the American University, and a certified international trainer.

The trainees praised the importance of this training program to hone the administrative and leadership skills necessary to fill the position of faculty dean in Egyptian universities.

The training course program was implemented at the headquarters of the Training and Development Center on the first floor of the university city.
