The Faculty of Arts’ preparations for the new academic year 2023/2024

Prof. Hanan Kamel, Dean of the Faculty of Arts at Ain Shams University, announced the details of the final preparations for the start of the new academic year 2023-2024, under the patronage of Prof. Ghada Farouk, Acting President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, She stressed that all efforts were employed to renew and develop the faculty, carry out complete maintenance, and comprehensively equip the auditoriums and study halls. The study schedules were also prepared in a well-balanced manner, in order to announce them to the students well before the start of the academic year through various means of communication, and all arrangements for regular study were completed. Prof. Hanan Kamel directed the need to overcome all obstacles, provide support for the smooth conduct of the educational process, and provide comfort and care for students.

   
   

The “Dean of the Faculty” also confirmed that preparations are being made to welcome new and old students at the beginning of the new academic year, which is being implemented by the Education and Student Affairs Sector, headed by Prof. Muhammad Ibrahim, the Faculty’s Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, the Youth Welfare Administration, and the Faculty’s Student Union.

For his part, the Faculty’s Vice Dean for education and student affairs confirmed that the faculty prepared to receive students, through a diverse carnival, on Monday, October 2, 2023, noting that all students must adhere to university norms and come to lecture halls at an appropriate time before the appointment, as well as adherence to morals and ideals. In communicating between them and all members of the educational process, he pointed out that introductory meetings are scheduled for new students regarding the rules of academic advising in departments that operate on the credit hour system.
