Media Statement

Ain Shams University headed by Prof. Dr. Abdel Wahab Ezzat, university president, vice presidents, secretary-general and assistant secretaries condemned the treacherous terrorist incident that took place near the monastery of Bishop Samuel in El-Menia and killed a number of innocent Egyptian citizens.

The university extends its sincere condolences to the families of the victims, asking God to rest the martyrs' souls in peace, and inspire their families with patience and fortitude and wish a speedy recovery to the injured.

The University affirms its solidarity with the great Egyptian people, under the leadership of President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, in his war against black terrorism, God save Egypt, its people and its army.
