Within the framework of the directives of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, to organize field visits for university students to develop awareness and belonging among Egyptian university youth, to acquaint them with the capabilities and capabilities of the Egyptian state, and its comprehensive vision for building the new republic, so that they can see on the ground what projects have been achieved by Egyptian hands throughout Egypt; In order for them to see and ascertain for themselves what has been achieved of the achievements and new development projects, this came as a continuation of the “See by Yourself” campaign, which was launched by the Armed Forces to introduce the Egyptian people to the giant development projects. The visit was organized by the leadership of the Popular and Military Defense Forces, led by Major General Walid Hamed Al Hamaki, Commander of the Forces, in cooperation with Ain Shams University, headed and sponsored by Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of the University and Prof. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, under the supervision of Colonel Staff Officer. Ahmed Fahmy, Director of the Military Education Department at Ain Shams University.

The tour included a visit to 8 factories for the production of technologically advanced products, which are considered one of the most powerful industrial castles in the field of electro-optical devices (night - day - thermal - laser) that provide the needs of the armed forces, and export another part to a number of brotherly and friendly countries to bring hard currency to the country and the highest quality.

The students also saw the most important products that the company produces in the military field, represented in the manufacture of optical and electro-optical devices, laser devices, microelectronic devices, remote engagement systems, integrated systems, and fire management systems for various military applications. The company also works to serve the civil sector with a group of factories, including the manufacture of solar energy “panels” modules, a factory for television surveillance cameras, and a factory for manufacturing electronic cards of all kinds, in addition to a factory for "LED" lamps and searchlights, panoramic surveillance cameras, economical LED street searchlights, smart poles, electronic cards, and solar panels.

Prof. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, stressed the importance of the role of field visits for university youth, as it is considered the best way to confront the persistent rumors that are launched in an attempt to make the people lose their confidence that Egypt can achieve wide successes in all fields, indicating that these visits come in light of The interest of the political leadership in youth and work to embrace them away from destructive ideas and to introduce them to the national projects that are being translated into the land of the new republic, under the leadership of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.

         
   
         

Prof. Abdel Fattah Saoud confirmed that this visit was not the first and of course, it will not be the last because the university fully believes that the educational and educational role played by those posts and field visits is no less important than the educational services provided by the university to its students.

The students also expressed their happiness and pride in these giant development projects, expressing their thanks and appreciation to the Armed Forces, which allowed them to visit these giant projects, and gave them hope for Egypt's ability to face all challenges with the hands of its people.
