Ain Shams tops the winning universities of the semi-final stage in the second session 2023 in the innovation competition in biotechnology

Yesterday, the arbitration committee of the innovation competition in biotechnology organized by Ain Shams University in cooperation with the Department of Veterinary Services of the Armed Forces announced the result of the semi-final stage of the competition in its second session 2023.

The competition resulted in the qualification of 25 competing students to the final stage, which will be held next Wednesday, February 8, 2023, at the University of October for Modern Sciences and Arts.

The competition jury included professors from various Egyptian universities, including Ain Shams University, Cairo University, Al-Azhar University, October University for Modern Sciences and Arts, and the Arab Academy for Science and Technology.

Ain Shams University topped the qualified universities in the semi-final stage of the competition, as 5 students qualified from the Faculty of Pharmacy (3 students), Science (1 student), Agriculture (1 student), and other students from the universities of Cairo, Damietta, Kafr El-Sheikh, Suez, Zagazig, Port Said, Damanhour, Helwan, Mansoura, Misr for Science and Technology, Badr, October for Modern Sciences and Arts, and King Salman. A high school student at the Misr School of Biotechnology also qualified for the final stage.

These students will compete in the final stage, which will be held in less than a week, hosted by the Faculty of Biotechnology at October University for Modern Sciences and Arts.
