Ain Shams University receives the recruitment committee from the Recruitment and Mobilization Department of the Ministry of Defense and Military Production

Yesterday morning, Wednesday, December 21, 2022, Ain Shams University received the recruitment committee from the Recruitment and Mobilization Department of the Ministry of Defense and Military Production to sign a medical examination for our students with special needs in the various faculties of Ain Shams University and determine their position on recruitment, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs.

Where Prof. Dr. Rana Al-Hilali, Director of the Center for Students with Disabilities at Ain Shams University, and Mrs. Reham Al-Atifi, who is in charge of facilitating the work of the Assistant Secretary of the University for Education and Student Affairs, received Colonel Staff Officer Ahmed Mounir Ali Abu Talib, Deputy Director of the Cairo Recruitment and Mobilization District, and Colonel Mohamed Mahmoud Hassan, Head of the Cairo Recruitment and Mobilization Department and Commander of the Military Liaison Offices at the Universities, in the presence of Mr. Ibrahim Saeed, Director General of the Office of the Vice President for Education and Student Affairs and the General Supervisor of the University Dormitories Sector.

And from within the headquarters of the Republic Building in the University City for students the recruitment committee from the Recruitment and Mobilization Department of the Ministry of Defense and Military Production began its work, and the committee provided all recruitment, medical and service facilities for students of determination free of charge, as part of the efforts of the university and the Service Center for Students with Disabilities at Ain Shams University.

Prof. Dr. Rana Al-Hilali explained that Ain Shams University was keen to establish a service center for students with disabilities 3 years ago, in light of the remarkable progress witnessed in Egypt in the field of supporting and empowering people with special needs, which sought to create a suitable space and climate for the concerted efforts of all segments of society to support people with special needs

Mrs. Reham Al-Atifi directed thanks and appreciation on behalf of the Ain Shams University Administration for the Recruitment and Mobilization Department and the Ministry of Defense and Military Production. She also thanked Major General Samir Khulaidi, Director of the Recruitment and Mobilization Department, and Brigadier General Muhammad Abdel-Wahhab Al-Ahwany, Director of the Recruitment and Mobilization Area in Cairo, and the members of the Medical Examination Committee, within the framework of great and fruitful cooperation and building with Ain Shams University in facilitating these procedures for our students with special needs, as well as facilitating them for their families.

She explained that the link for the services provided by the Cairo recruitment and mobilization area will be added to the official website of Ain Shams University, with the establishment of many awareness workshops and seminars within the student community.
