Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President of Ain Shams University for Education and Student Affairs, students of 23 Egyptian universities participated in their visit to the headquarters of the Zaafaran Palace, the administrative headquarters of Ain Shams University. The scientific knowledge of Egyptian universities, which is hosted by Ain Shams University under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, and Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Tamer Rady, Advisor to the Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and Mr. Muhammad Al-Khatib, Assistant Secretary of the University for Education and Student Affairs.

During the tour inside the Saffron Palace, the students expressed their fascination with the architectural style of the palace, which was built on the model of Versailles Palace in France.

   
   

During his intimate parental conversation with the students, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saud, "Knowing the history of Egypt with all its details is the way to live an honorable present and build a promising future," stressing that Ain Shams University was keen to document the history of the noble palace based on a historical decision taken by Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, in coordination, implementation and full supervision of Prof. Dr. Mamdouh Al-Damaty, the former Minister of Antiquities and the former Dean of the Faculty of Antiquities, wrote in a wonderful book that included everything that was documented historically about the palace with proven historical evidence, as well as all the stories told about the history of the palace, which increases the greatness of this book, which brought together the two sides.

He stressed that the restoration of the Saffron Palace is carried out through the Palaces Department of the Arab Contractors Company and under the full supervision of the Egyptian Ministry of Antiquities with the aim of preserving the original style of the palace, within the framework of the plan established to transform the palace into an important historical archaeological tourist attraction, as well as establishing a museum for the university’s historical holdings in order to preserve and leave them. for future and future generations.

   
   

It is noteworthy that the students participating in the competition visited this morning the National Museum of Civilizations, under the supervision of Mr. Mohamed Al-Sharkawi, Director General of Youth Welfare and Mr. Talaat Abdo, Director of the Department of Scientific Activity, and the activities of the competition are scheduled to continue until August 30.
