The French ambassador awards an assistant professor at the Faculty of Al-Alsun with Knight Academic Medal

The Ambassador of France in Cairo, Mr. Mark Baretti, gifted Dr. Laila Abadir, Assistant Professor Emeritus in the French Language Department at the Faculty of Al-Alsun, Ain Shams University, the Knight Academic Medal, which is one of the high honors granted by the French Prime Minister to civilians, this came during a ceremony held at the embassy headquarters.

The French ambassador delivered a speech in which he praised her professional career and her scientific and research contributions in the field of language, culture and translation.

This honor represents an important culmination of Dr. Leila Abadir's professional life in the service of the flourishing of the French culture and language, and a high and valuable appreciation for a long, distinguished and fruitful career.

Also Prof. Dr. Salwa Rashad, Dean of the Faculty, congratulated Dr. Leila on receiving the medal, wishing her continued success in various international forums.
