The Faculty of Medicine celebrates the Diamond Jubilee within the activities of its annual conference

The activities of the 42nd session of the Conference of the Faculty of Medicine at Ain Shams University, which will continue until March 26 with the participation of 28 departments and units from the faculty, will be launched under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Ashraf Omar, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and President of the Conference, Prof. Dr. Shahira Samir Wakil Faculty of Medicine for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs and the Vice President of the Conference, Prof. Dr. Nabil Farag, Head of the Cardiology Department and Conference Rapporteur.

Prof. Shahera Samir explained that the conference activities combine (physical attendance) and (online), noting that four ceremonies will be held on the sidelines of the conference. On March 23, two graduation ceremonies will be held from the Fimer Regional Institute, which is affiliated with an institute in Florida for medical education, On March 25, the graduation ceremony for the students of the December 2020 batch will be held.

She added that Saturday, March 26, will witness the celebration of the diamond jubilee of the establishment of the Faculty of Medicine, Ain Shams University, and the 75th anniversary of the issuance of the decree of its establishment in 1947, noting that within the framework of the celebrations, the college, in cooperation with the Mint, issued a special coin for the celebration, one of which is a gold coin with a value of one pound and the other was silver, worth five pounds.
