The Faculty of Science announces the Higher Education Initiative scholarships for postgraduate scholarships for Egyptian professionals in accordance with the USAID agreement

The Faculty of Science at Ain Shams University announced the beginning to apply for scholarships from the Higher Education Initiative to graduate studies to Egyptian professionals in accordance with the agreement signed between the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). These scholarships are available for male and female faculty staff and administrators. The faculty will provide the following scholarships:

A full 6-month post-doctoral assignment in the USA One semester internship in the USA with a maximum of four months, a Master's degree with a maximum of three semesters in the USA or the American University in Cairo.

The faculty administration announced that those wishing to apply must submit an application to the office of Prof. Dr. Dean of the faculty no later than 15/2/2022, provided that the applicant for grants should be appointed and on the job for a period of not less than one year in service, and hold a high qualification of a Bachelor’s Or a bachelor’s degree, and that he has performed military service or obtained an exemption from it for males, and family is not allowed according to the program’s conditions, and he must pass the medical and security examination decided by the central management systems of missions, and he must not be a US citizen or holder of permanent residence

It is also preferable to have an initial acceptance letter or correspondence with American universities. Submitting an English language proficiency certificate is a mandatory condition when applying for assignments and training.

This was stated by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Raja’ Al-Sutuhi, Dean of the Faculty of Science, added that the faculty had obtained four scholarships by announcing the first batch of these grants, for which the application began last May, and whose results appeared in the current month of January, noting that the currently available grants come within the framework of the batch. The second for which the faculty applies through the agreement.
