Prof. Dr. Hatem Rabie wins the translation award for the year 2021 from the Egyptian Writers Union

Prof. Dr. Hatem Rabie Hassan, Professor of Theater and Head of the European Civilization and Languages ​​Department at the Faculty of Arts, Ain Shams University, and the former Secretary-General of the Supreme Council of Culture won the translation award for the year 2021 from the Egyptian Writers Union.

The Board of Directors of the Egyptian Writers Union, headed by Dr. Alaa Abdel Hadi, had approved the results of the Union Awards for the year 2021, and the arbitrators for the translation award were “Dr. Makarim Al-Ghamry, Dr. Ahmed Al-Hussesi, Dr. Fatima Khalil”.

Dr. Hatem Rabie has made many contributions in the field of translation for several years, as he translated the plays “House of Ghosts”, “Formio and Andrea”, “The Brotherhood” and “The Protectors”, in addition to translating my books “The Roman Theater and Dionysius Resurrected”.
