Reception for students of the Republic of South Sudan at Ain Shams University

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Shahira Samir, Executive Director of the International Relations and Academic Cooperation Sector at the university, and Prof. Dr. Mohamed Safi, Dean of the Faculty of Law, the Students’ Association of the Republic of South Sudan at Ain Shams University organized a reception for university students from the State of South Sudan at the Faculty of Law, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Sherwat Al-Ahmadi, Director of the Immigrants Department at the university.

The ceremony was attended by Prof. Dr. Ahmed Dahoum, Director of the Arbitration Center, and Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Lotfi, Head of the Private International Law Department at the Faculty of Law, Dr. Fatima Adel, lecturer of pleadings law and coordinator of the Faculty at the University's Expatriates Department, Prof. Dr. Reem Al-Tanani, the coordinator of international students at the Faculty of Dentistry, and Professor Hoda Sabry, the former coordinator of international students at the Faculty of Law, along with a number of representatives of the Cultural Attaché at the Embassy of the State of South Sudan and a number of heads of South Sudan’s associations in various universities.

For their part, the students expressed their happiness with this reception and their admission to Ain Shams University, which is one of the most prestigious universities in Egypt and the Middle East.
