Symposium about uterine fibroids in the Faculty of Pharmacy at Ain Shams University

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and Prof. Dr. Amani Osama Kamel, Dean of the Faculty, and under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Maha Nasr, Assistant Professor at the Department of Pharmaceutics and Industrial Pharmacy and Director of the Department of International Relations and Academic Cooperation at the Faculty, the Faculty of Pharmacy organized a symposium on uterine fibroids, and Dr. Muhammad Abu Auf, doctor in the Department of Clinical Pharmacy in the Faculty, did the presentation.

The symposium contained the dangers of these tumors, how to reduce and treat them, with a review of the most important researches of Dr. Muhammad Abu Auf published in this regard in various international journals. The symposium was held as part of a series of weekly scientific symposia held by the Faculty during the academic year 2021/2022.

The symposium was also presented via the Zoom application and through the live broadcast on the Faculty social media page, and the lecture was presented by displaying it on interactive screens in the lecture halls, in the presence of a number of faculty staff and Faculty students.
