Engineer Omar Abdel Salam wins third place in the Innovation Forum competition

Engineer Omar Abdel Salam, one of the cadres supported by the National Academy of Information Technology for Persons with Disabilities, won the third place in the Innovation Arena competition held in Cairo ICT 2021 supported by the National Academy of Information Technology for Persons with Disabilities in cooperation with the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center at Ain Shams University.

Dr. Amr Talaat, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, attended the graduation ceremony of the summer training grant for the development of assistive technologies, which was launched by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology through the National Academy of Information Technology for Persons with Disabilities in cooperation with the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Ain Shams University, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University,. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research Affairs, in cooperation with the Office of the Minister of Communications’ Adviser for Artificial Intelligence; This is within the framework of the Ministry’s keenness to support research and development in the field of assistive technologies to integrate and empower persons with disabilities in society, in the presence of Dr. Abdel Moneim El Sharkawy, President of the National Academy of Information Technology for Persons with Disabilities, Dr. Alaa Sabra, Dr. Essam Mahmoud, Professor Amal Ramadan, members of the Academy’s Executive Board Dr. Amr Al-Awamry, Director of the Innovation Program at the Academy, Dr. Mohamed El-Behairy, Director of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center at Ain Shams University IHUB, as well as Prof. Dr. Diaa Khalil, former Dean of Faculty of Engineering and General Supervisor of the Innovation Center, and Professor Yamama Qinawy, Senior Director of Capacity Building Programs at the Office of the Minister of Communications’ Adviser for Artificial Intelligence.
