The Scholar Welfare Office General Supervisor at Ain Shams University Participates as Director in the Egyptian Young Academy of Sciences (EYAS)

Egyptian Young Academy of Sciences announced via its Facebook page the result of the election of the Executive Committee of EYAS. EYAS congratulated Dr. Abdullah Samy, Instructor at the Faculty of Science and the Scholar Welfare Office General Supervisor at the University, for winning the position of AYAS Participant President.

For his part, Dr. Abdullah Samy thanked and appreciated his colleagues for their trust in him and electing him in the Academy. He also thanked Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President of the University, for continuously encouraging the Staff members and setting community participation as one of the priorities provided by the University besides its role in the field of education and scientific research.

The future vision of EYAS, derived from Academy of Scientific Research and Technology, centers as one of the scientific components to play a crucial leading and effective role regarding the Egyptian young researchers in the Egyptian sciences and technology system, especially connecting the scientific research with the society to achieve the sustainable development based on sciences and technology.

EYAS reflects the belief of the Egyptian Government and political leadership in the Egyptian youth as a main engine for development in Egypt. EYAS also represents Academy of Scientific Research and Technology’s (a member in the International Academic Union) commitment with the initiative of the joint Union committee that aims to support youth and women empowerment in sciences and technology.
