For the second day in a row, the activities of the annual conference of the French Association Méditerranées, hosted by the Faculty of Arts at Ain Shams University from October 31 to November 2, on the occasion of the thirty-year anniversary of the establishment of the association, continued, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Dr. Hassan Abdel Hamid, Dean of the Faculty of Law at the British University, Professor of Philosophy of Law at the Faculty of Law, Ain Shams University, and Vice President of the Society, under the supervision of Prof. Mustafa Mortada, Dean of the Faculty of Arts.

Where the activities of the second day of the conference, in which 30 professors from the universities of the Mediterranean basin participate, in addition to remote (online) participations, witnessed three sessions. control of nature.

The second session dealt with hegemony in the Middle Ages, whether legal or military, and its consequences. The third session dealt with hegemony in the eastern Mediterranean region. The idea of ​​hegemony from a religious point of view, whether in Islamic or Christian thought, was also discussed.

It is worth mentioning that the French Association Méditerranées was established in 1991 at the University of Paris (10) and its current headquarters is at the University of La Rochelle. One of these countries, and this year's Assembly conference deals with the cultural and legal aspects of hegemony - a comparative study between ancient and contemporary civilizations.
