Automotive Engineering team at Faculty of Engineering wins the first place in the Youth Leaders Competition

The automotive team of the Faculty of Engineering at Ain Shams University achieved the first place and a financial prize of 50,000 thousand pounds in the Youth Leaders Competition. The American University hosted this competition in the presence of Prof. Dr. Khaled Abdul Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and the businessperson Ahmed Abu Hashima, Chairman of the Egyptian Iron Group. After a competition with about 50 student activities from different Egyptian universities where the jury announced the evaluation of the 50 activities, the winning team of the Faculty of Engineering after he managed to pass the qualifying stage, which included 251-student activity over the past two months.

The competition included many large activities of students, including projects for community development, slum upgrading and car manufacturing, as well as student projects in the field of agriculture and the development of the education system.

The government sector as well as the private sector and media also attended the competition.
