Ain Shams University mourns Field Marshal Mohamed Hussein Tantawi

Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President of Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President of Graduate Studies and Research, and Prof. Hisham Temraz, Vice President of Community Service and Environmental Development, mourns with great sadness and sorrow Field Marshal Mohamed Hussein Tantawi, who passed away this morning after a long and honorable march during which he exerted a lot for the sake of the advancement of his country, which will make his name immortal forever in the history of the nation, the hearts of Egyptians, and the record of the honorable people of the nation.

The family of Ain Shams University extends its sincere condolences to the family of the great late, the Egyptian military family, and the masses of the Egyptian people, praying to God Almighty to bless the deceased with his mercy and forgiveness, to dwell in his vast gardens, and to inspire his family and lovers’ patience and solace.
