Prof. Dr. Mustafa Mortada, Dean of the Faculty of Arts at Ain Shams University, announced the start of the summer semester exams tomorrow, Sunday, September 19, 2021, which will continue until October 12, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President of Education and Student Affairs.
Prof. Dr. Mustafa Mortada, Dean of the Faculty, stressed that the necessary precautionary measures are taken to avoid the spread of the emerging Corona virus, and students of departments that use the credit-hour system and who have completed attending summer semester lectures are tested over a month.
He also confirmed that it is scheduled to monitor the progress of the exams, in addition to providing all means of comfort and a calm atmosphere for students and observers, in order to preserve public health and safety.
While Dr. Hanan Kamel, Vice Dean of Education and Student Affairs, confirmed that the directives of the Dean of the Faculty are being applied to intensify disinfection and sterilization examination rooms, while taking all precautionary measures, committing to wearing protective masks, and taking into consideration the spacing and distances between students and observers by using the examination rooms at half their absorptive capacities.
"Kamel" added that the exams are held in four periods from 9 am to 4 pm daily from Saturday to Thursday, and the exams are objective and vary between multiple choice and essay questions. And it is corrected electronically on the same day through the measurement and evaluation unit to quickly announce the results of students.
Plastic boxes are also used not to touch the papers to prevent the spread of the Corona virus, in addition to announcing the students daily about the locations of their examination rooms through the official page of the faculty.
