The Aikido team at the Faculty of Girls won the second place cup in the Republic Aikido Championship

The aikido team at the Faculty of Girls, Ain Shams University, managed to win the second place cup in the Republic Aikido Championship and won 49 gold medals at the tournament level, which was organized by the Egyptian Judo, Aikido and Sumo Federation at the Shooting Club on Friday, September 3, with the participation of many Egyptian clubs.

Ain Shams University is the only university represented in the competition, and the participation of the Faculty for Girls team in the tournament comes under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Amira Ahmed Youssef, Dean of the Faculty for Girls, and Prof. Dr. Mai Helmy Abdel-Gawad, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Girls for Education and Student Affairs, the Sports Committee of the Youth Welfare Department and the Student Union of the Faculty.

On the other hand, Prof. Dr. Amira Youssef, Dean of the Faculty, congratulates and thanks to all the participants in the aikido team under the supervision of Dr. Suzan Fahmy, the responsible of the Sports Committee, confirmed that the team was keen on training throughout the year, and training was intensified in the month preceding the competition, which qualified it to achieve advanced positions and won many awards.
