Student's guide to aptitude tests for music specialization in the faculties of Specific Education

Dear student: If your goals and tendencies are to join the Faculty of Music Education or majoring in music in one of the Faculties of Education or Specific Education, then you must pass the ability tests for this major, which are simple tests that measure your willingness to study music.

The objective of the aptitude tests for the faculties of music education:

Measuring the student's musical ability and skill through a variety of tests, which are categorized into three sections, as follows:

Free singing (15 degrees)

Melodic aspect (perform 4 melodic models) (45 degrees)

Rhythmic aspect (perform 4 rhythmic models) (40 degrees)

Test time:

The average test time for one student is approximately (10) minutes.

Conditions for success:

Conditions for passing the aptitude test for the Music Education major: The student obtaining 60% of the total scores of all tests; As a condition for the student's success and obtaining a pass score.
