Students of the Faculty of Computers won the fifth place in the Vodafone Smart Solutions competition

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Nagwa Badr, Dean of the Faculty of Computers and Information, students of the Faculty of Computers won the fifth place in the VOIS Hackathon competition, Vodafone for Smart Solutions, after their participation in the project “Orienting a Wheelchair Based on Eye Movement”.

The competition was held from 25 to 28 March 2021, under the auspices of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Information Technology Institute, Information Technology Industry Development Authority.

The winning team was supervised by Prof. Dr. Manal Mohsin Tantawy, Assistant Professor in the Department of Scientific Accounts, Assistant Supervising Instructor Radwa Reda in the Department of Scientific Accounts, the team included the students:
