As part of Ain Shams University’s commitment to providing the best possible services to Thanaweya Amma students, the University has completed its preparations to receive students during the first phase of university and institute admissions coordination for the 2026/2027 academic year. An integrated system has been put in place to facilitate the registration of students’ preferences and provide an organized and supportive environment for students and parents throughout the admissions coordination period.

The preparations are being carried out under the auspices of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Rami Maher Ghali, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and under the supervision of the Education and Student Affairs Sector and the General Administration for Education and Student Affairs.

• 16 Labs Serving Students During the Admissions Coordination Process

Ain Shams University has made electronic admissions coordination services available through 16 labs across several faculties, equipped with more than 340 modern computers. The labs receive students from both the science and arts streams wishing to register their university preferences and provide them with technical support and guidance throughout the process.

The electronic coordination labs are located at the Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences and the Faculty of Arts on the University’s Abbassia campus, the Faculty of Engineering in Abdo Pasha, the Faculty of Agriculture in Shubra El-Kheima, and the Faculty of Women in Heliopolis.

The University has also provided specially equipped labs to serve students with disabilities, including facilities at the Faculty of Arts through the Al-Ibsar Center and at the Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences in the Geneidy Building, ensuring accessible and convenient services for all students.

• Technical Preparations and Trained Teams

The University’s preparations extend beyond providing computer equipment and laboratories. Qualified teams have also been assigned to provide guidance and technical support and respond to inquiries from students and parents, ensuring that students can register their preferences through the official electronic admissions coordination website easily and accurately.

The labs operate during official working days from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. throughout the first phase of electronic admissions coordination, providing preference registration and technical support services to students free of charge.

The University has also designated a lab to respond to inquiries from Thanaweya Amma students from both the current graduating class and previous years. A specialized team experienced in admissions coordination and transfer procedures provides the necessary guidance and answers questions concerning coordination and transfer regulations and procedures.

Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, affirmed that the University has mobilized all its human and technological resources to ensure the success of the electronic admissions coordination process. He noted that the labs have been equipped with more than 340 modern computers, in addition to qualified teams providing guidance and technical support and responding to inquiries from students and parents.

He explained that the labs will continue to receive students throughout the admissions coordination period, ensuring that the preference registration process is completed easily and accurately.

The University President directed the Education and Student Affairs Sector to maintain the highest level of readiness and continuously monitor operations across all electronic coordination labs, while providing all necessary support and logistical services to ensure a smooth and efficient experience for students and their parents throughout the coordination period.

•Field Tour to Monitor Operations

As part of the University’s on-site monitoring of the launch of the first phase of university admissions coordination, Prof. Rami Maher Ghali, Vice President of Ain Shams University for Education and Student Affairs, conducted an inspection tour of the electronic coordination labs at the Faculties of Arts and Computer and Information Sciences to ensure the smooth flow of operations and the quality of services provided to students.

He was accompanied during the tour by Prof. Hanan Kamel, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, and Prof. Rasha Ismail, Dean of the Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences.

During the tour, the Vice President reviewed the student reception process and the availability of technical support and guidance within the labs. He directed the teams to provide all necessary assistance to students and parents and respond promptly to inquiries, ensuring that students can complete the preference registration process smoothly and accurately.

Prof. Rami Maher Ghali emphasized that Ain Shams University is committed to providing an integrated and well-organized environment that enables students to register their preferences easily and conveniently, noting that the University has mobilized all its human and technological resources to serve students throughout the admissions coordination period.

He explained that the University has provided 16 electronic coordination labs equipped with 340 modern computers, supported by trained teams providing technical assistance and guidance throughout the coordination period, including dedicated labs equipped to serve students with disabilities.

He added that the Education and Student Affairs Sector continuously monitors operations across all electronic coordination labs to ensure the smooth delivery of services and the highest level of logistical and organizational support, reflecting the University’s commitment to providing outstanding services to students and their parents.

•More Than 3,000 Students Served During the Admissions Coordination Process

Ain Shams University’s electronic coordination labs witnessed a significant turnout of Thanaweya Amma students, receiving more than 1,700 students during the first phase of university admissions coordination for the 2026/2027 academic year.

During the second phase, the labs received a further 1,670 students, as part of the University’s commitment to serving students and parents and facilitating the preference registration process within an organized environment that ensures services are delivered quickly and efficiently.

This comes alongside the provision of all necessary technical and human resources, with trained teams providing technical support and guidance and responding to inquiries from students and parents throughout the admissions coordination period.

As part of its integrated services for Thanaweya Amma students and their parents, Ain Shams University’s official website has dedicated a specialized page to electronic admissions coordination, featuring guidance and information to help students and parents understand the coordination process and correctly complete the steps required to register their preferences.

The page forms part of the University’s efforts to make information and services readily available online, complementing the technical support and guidance provided through electronic coordination labs across the University’s faculties and enabling students and parents to easily access the information they need.

• Continuous Follow-Up and Free Services

Operations at the electronic coordination labs are conducted under the supervision of the Education and Student Affairs Sector, led by Mr. Ibrahim Saeed Hamza, Assistant Secretary-General for the Education and Student Affairs Sector, and Ms. Reham El-Otifi, Director General of the General Administration for Education and Student Affairs, with the participation of specialized teams.

The teams continue their efforts to ensure the smooth and regular operation of the labs and provide technical support and guidance to students and parents, while ensuring that all necessary logistical and organizational services remain available throughout the admissions coordination period.
