Strategic Presence at EDUGATE 2026
• Ain Shams University, represented by the Education and Student Affairs Sector, participated as a strategic partner in the 19th edition of the International Higher Education and Training Forum and Exhibition, EDUGATE 2026, held from July 28 to 30, 2026, at the Egypt International Exhibition Center in New Cairo, under the auspices of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Association of Arab Universities.
• Throughout the exhibition, the University’s pavilion attracted a strong turnout of Egyptian Thanaweya Amma students, holders of equivalent Arab and foreign secondary certificates, parents, and those interested in higher education, who sought information about the University’s academic programs, study opportunities, and diverse educational pathways.
• The University’s participation was held under the auspices of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Rami Maher Ghali, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, under the supervision of Mr. Mohamed El-Gamal, Head of the Central Administration of the University President’s Sector; Mr. Ibrahim Saeed Hamza, Assistant Secretary-General for the Education and Student Affairs Sector; Dr. Dalia Youssef, Director of the University’s Central E-Learning Unit; and Ms. Reham El-Atifi, Director General of the General Administration for Education and Student Affairs.

• During his visit to the University’s pavilion at EDUGATE 2026, Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen emphasized that Ain Shams University adopts an integrated vision for advancing its educational system, centered on modernizing academic programs and aligning them with global developments.
• He explained that the University is working to integrate complementary learning pathways and micro-credentials to keep pace with the needs of the local and international labor markets and support the transition toward a more flexible educational system focused on developing professional skills and competencies.
• The University President noted that Ain Shams University offers an integrated portfolio of distinguished credit-hour programs across various academic sectors, including specialized programs in computer and information sciences and artificial intelligence, as well as modern programs at the Faculty of Medicine that incorporate the latest medical specializations.
• The University’s academic portfolio also includes specialized programs at the Faculty of Commerce and Business Administration, offered in both Arabic and English, in accounting and auditing, financial markets and institutions, and marketing. It also encompasses innovative language and translation programs offered by the Faculties of Al-Alsun and Arts in accordance with the highest standards of academic quality, contributing to the preparation of graduates capable of competing in local, regional, and international labor markets.

• For his part, Prof. Rami Maher Ghali, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, emphasized that Ain Shams University’s participation in EDUGATE 2026 reflects its commitment to direct engagement with students, parents, and those interested in higher education, introducing them to the University’s diverse academic programs and the outstanding educational and research opportunities it provides in line with the latest global developments and labor market needs.

• Following its participation in EDUGATE 2026, Ain Shams University continued its presence at major educational events by participating in Akhbar Al-Youm Higher Education Fair 2026, organized by Akhbar Al-Youm Foundation for the tenth consecutive year on August 6 and 7, with the participation of more than 75 public, national, and private universities and institutes.
• The exhibition was held at the hall of the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise Development Agency on Salah Salem Street in Nasr City, under the auspices of Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, and with the support of Prof. Abdelaziz Konsowa, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
