Doctor of Philosophy in Agricultural Sciences (Poultry Nutrition Program)
2026-07-05Admission Requirements:
Applicants must hold a Research Master’s degree in Agricultural Sciences from a recognized university or an equivalent degree from another scientific institution recognized by the Supreme Council of Universities. The period from obtaining master’s degree must not exceed ten years. Applicants are required to enroll in the same specialization as their master’s degree within the same department. If applying from a different specialization, they must successfully complete at least 30 credit units from the master’s-level courses of the new specialization with a minimum GPA of 2.7 (Very Good), in addition to the PhD coursework.

Egyptian and international students.
Application Periods:
Applications are accepted twice a year:
-October Intake : From June to August each year.
-February Intake : From November to January each year.
Program Duration: Five years.
Credit Hours:Minimum: 54 credit hours, Maximum: 66 credit hours
Program Advantages:
Advanced training in the scientific formulation and pelleting of specialized poultry diets for different classes of poultry, utilizing modern nutritional approaches while considering economic efficiency and production requirements.
Skills Acquired by Graduates:
Formulate and pellet nutritionally balanced diets tailored to the requirements of different poultry species and production stages, in accordance with scientific principles and industry standards.
