2026-07-07Admission Requirements:
The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Science in Zoology, Zoology/Chemistry, or any related specialization approved by the department council from Egyptian universities. Equivalent degrees from recognized institutions inside or outside Egypt are also accepted according to the Supreme Council of Universities regulations.
The applicant must have a minimum grade of “Good” (at least 65%) or a cumulative GPA of not less than 2.33, and the specialization grade must not be lower than this level. The time period between obtaining the Bachelor’s degree and admission to the Master’s program must not exceed ten years.
Applicants with a lower grade may be accepted if they successfully complete a relevant postgraduate diploma with a “Very Good” grade or a GPA not less than 3.00.
International students may be accepted with a minimum grade of “Pass” (60%) or GPA of 2.00, provided they complete prerequisite courses (maximum of four courses) within the first two semesters, as approved by the department and faculty council.
