Scholarships for master and doctoral degrees’ researchers within the Super Incubators Program at Ain Shams University

Under the patronage of the President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Prof. Dr. Hesham Tamraz, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and in accordance with the cooperation protocol between the Ministry of Social Solidarity and Ain Shams University, 10 research grants are awarded to researchers Masters and Ph.D. for the following faculties: (Medicine, Pharmacy, Engineering, Science, and Agriculture), and each faculty has only two scholarships, according to the following conditions:

The researcher must be registered with a master’s or doctorate degree.

Selection is made at the level of each faculty through a scientific committee formed after the end of the announcement and submission period.

Research papers are evaluated and submitted to the committee at the university level and the Ministry of Solidarity and a seminar is held where 2 are selected from each faculty on condition that the research topic serves an important issue for Egyptian society.

The value of the grant is estimated at (25,000) twenty-five thousand pounds, which will be spent in two installments: the first payment is spent at the beginning of the grant contract, and the second payment is spent after awarding the academic degree.

A master's student is granted a monthly salary of one thousand pounds for a year.

A doctoral student is granted a monthly salary of 1,000 pounds for a period of two years.

Required documents:

A letter from the Graduate Studies Department in the Faculty stating that the student has registered for the academic degree stating the title of his research.

Student research plan approved by the supervisory committee.

A statement that the applicant for the scholarship does not work in any government job for which he receives a salary from the state

A copy of the student's national ID card.

Applications for the scholarship shall be submitted at the Office of the Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research in the relevant colleges from 4/3/2021 to 11/3/2021.
