Admission Requirements:

The applicant must hold a Master’s degree in Science in Cell and Tissue Biology, or a specialization approved by the department council, from one of the Egyptian universities, or an equivalent degree from another recognized scientific institute inside or outside Egypt, approved by the Supreme Council of Universities.

• Cell culture: ability to establish, maintain, and manipulate different cell lines.

• Advanced microscopy: proficiency in electron microscopy, fluorescence microscopy, and confocal microscopy for tissue examination.

• Molecular techniques: competence in nucleic acid extraction, PCR amplification, and electrophoresis techniques.

• Cell separation and analysis: use of flow cytometry and isolation of cellular components and organelles.

Analytical and Research Design Skills:

• Experimental design: formulating scientific hypotheses and structured experimental approaches to study cellular changes.

• Big data handling: using bioinformatics tools for gene expression and tissue development analysis.

• Biostatistics: applying statistical software for accurate data analysis.

• Critical analysis: interpreting unexpected results and solving complex research problems.
