Admission Requirements

In addition to the general requirements for admission to postgraduate studies, applicants must satisfy the following conditions:

• Hold a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry or Chemistry with one of the approved double-major specializations from an Egyptian university, or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Supreme Council of Universities.

• Applicants who are currently employed must submit official approval from their employer.

• Graduates holding bachelor's degrees from other relevant disciplines, such as Chemical Engineering, Petroleum and Mining Engineering, or other equivalent qualifications, may be admitted in accordance with the regulations established by the Faculty Council upon the recommendation of the Program Board and the relevant academic department.

• Applicants must fulfill any additional admission requirements approved by the Program Board, the Faculty Council, and the University.

• Based on the recommendation of the Department of Chemistry, the Program Board may require students to complete up to two remedial courses (or a maximum of six credit hours). These courses are additional requirements and are not counted toward the credit hours required for graduation.
