Master's in Dental Biomaterials (Academic Track) – International Students

Admission Requirements

1. *Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Oral and Dental Medicine and Surgery* from Egypt or an equivalent recognized qualification.

2. *Have completed the one-year internship* or have acquired professional practice and training experience in medical centers or government hospitals.

3. *Hold a minimum overall grade of Good* in the bachelor’s degree, or *Pass*, provided that the applicant has obtained a Postgraduate Diploma.

4. *Submit all required documents* addressed to the Dean of the Faculty within the application period specified in the Faculty’s regulations.

5. *Comply with the regulations and rules* governing international students as set forth by the University’s International Students Administration.


Target Group: International dentists holding a Bachelor's degree in Dentistry from Egyptian universities or an equivalent degree recognized by the Egyptian Supreme Council of Universities.

Program Duration

Academic Track: 3 years + up to 2 extension years

Application Period

February and March of each year.

Credit Hours: 

Academic Track: 65 credit hours (45 coursework credit hours + 20 thesis credit hours)

Graduate Competencies:

Graduates will acquire comprehensive knowledge of dental biomaterials and their clinical applications, together with a solid understanding of the scientific principles underlying the development and performance of dental materials. The program integrates the latest advances in dental biomaterials, enabling graduates to make informed decisions regarding material selection, handling, and evaluation in both clinical and laboratory settings. By combining theoretical study with contemporary material evaluation techniques, and through the completion of a research thesis, graduates will strengthen their scientific research capabilities, analytical and critical thinking skills, and proficiency in evidence-based practice.
